Frequently asked questions

Will I be able to get finance?

Being accepted for finance depends on a number of factors. It’s important to know that you will only be considered for finance if:

  • You are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcies

Our finance partners, V12 Finance, have a dedicated credit team who reach decisions using a unique credit engine.

What is the minimum deposit needed for a payment plan?

The minimum deposit required for any of our payment plans is 10%

What is the maximum deposit possible for a payment plan?

The maximum deposit you can contribute for a payment plans is 50%

Can I make a shared payment plan application with my partner?

Unfortunately the loan agreement cannot be a joint application. This can be yourself , your partner or a family member of your choice.

What's the highest amount that can be borrowed on a payment plan?

The maximum amount that can be borrowed is £25,000.

When will the first repayment for my payment plan be taken?

Your first direct debit payment will be taken either 25 or 30 days after you have started treatment, but this can sometimes depend on the payment plan you have chosen. Your patient coordinator will help you arrange the first payment date which will be confirmed once the date of your surgery has been arranged. This will show on your statement as a payment to V12 Retail Finance. You have the right to repay all or part of the loan early at any time without penalty.

What is a credit search?

A ‘credit search’ is when a third party investigates your credit report. This is to look at how you manage your credit now, and how you’ve managed historically. This search may then be recorded on your credit report which is for other third parties to view. This is useful to lenders, for example, if someone has made multiple applications for credit recently, it might suggest to that they have an urgent need for credit which you may struggle to pay back.

If I change my mind about a payment plan, can I cancel my agreement?

Yes. Please contact EvoDental and we will be more than happy to help you cancel the agreement. There will be a 14-day cooling off period. Please note terms and conditions apply.
