Amar graduated in 2016 with honours from King’s College London, before returning to the Midlands where he grew up. Conscientious and meticulous, Amar always endeavours to deliver the highest quality of treatment to each and every one of his patients. He firmly believes in working with his patients to restore their confidence and function, through the provision of full jaw implant rehabilitation.
Committed to further development and ongoing training, Amar is always keen to enhance his knowledge in order to provide the highest standards of care, and partakes in multiple courses and lectures throughout the year.
In 2020, Amar completed his Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry, graduating with Distinction, and allowing him to better manage patients with complex dentitions. More recently, Amar has completed a PG Cert. in Implant Dentistry, and looks forward to converting this to a Master’s degree in Implantology in the near future.
Recognising that implant dentistry can be quite daunting for some, Amar has undertaken further training allowing him to provide treatment for nervous patients under intravenous sedation. This combined with his calm and friendly demeanour is appreciated by many of his patients, who find his relaxed manner helps to ease any anxieties they may have.
Away from the surgery, Amar is a keen cricketer and hockey player, playing for local teams on the weekends. Beyond this, you will find him trying (unsuccessfully) to reduce his golf handicap. Dr Amar Sodha BDS (Hons) MSc (Rest. Dent) PGCert (Imp. Dent)
