Why choose EvoDental?

EvoDental is CQC Approved

If you choose to have full jaw dental implant treatment at EvoDental, you can rest assured that all our clinics are CQC (Care Quality Commission, the UK’s independent health and social care regulator) approved. EvoDental take every step to ensure that all our clinics continually compliant with every regulation, helping to make sure that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

CQC approval is something that you should look for in any clinic you are considering for this highly invasive and specialised treatment. Those who are considering travelling abroad for treatment should be aware that the clinic they are looking into will not adhere to the same regulatory standards as those in the UK, and there are many risks associated with this option.

Sedation Options

We offer sedation during surgery. We understand that undergoing a treatment like this can bring on some anxieties, but you can rest assured that throughout the entire process our friendly team will be on hand to help. We have many years of experience helping nervous patients, and many say afterwards that they don’t remember much about the procedure. You can see comments like this in many of our Trustpilot and Google reviews.

We offer two types of sedation, and both options allow patients to be awake and able to communicate with the clinicians and nurses. The EvoSolutionTM is a precise and exacting process, where patient cooperation is essential for the most optimal precision implant placement, as well as bite record taking and the fitting of the prosthesis.

Both sedation options available create an amnesic effect. The patient may experience a partial or total loss of the procedure, even though they are awake and able to communicate.

Oral Sedation

This medication comes as a tablet and is taken with water before the procedure.

This is used in addition to local (needle in gum) anesthetic.

Intravenous Sedation (IV)

This medication is taken via a needle in the arm or hand, again this is in an addition to local (needle in gum) anesthetic.

Southern Implants – Our Dental Implant System

Southern Implants has been a pioneer in the top-end specialist sector of the dental implant market since 1987. EvoDental have specifically selected Southern Implants as our dental implant system due to their leading quality and compatibility with our full mouth dental implant treatment.

Along with our clinical and technical expertise, the use of Southern Implants allows us to achieve precise and long-lasting implant placement for our patients. The vast majority of our patients have additional implants placed in bones which are not normally an option for many other providers. This results in an improved fit and a stronger bite, helping patients to regain a confident and fully functioning bite.

As well as this, the materials which our implants are made of, medical grade titanium, are biocompatible and promote bone density, leading to a stronger fit over time. If your dentist has told you that you don’t have enough bone for dental implants, our expert clinicians will most likely still be able to help you.

3D CBCT Scanning – Precise Planning and Treatment

Each of our purpose-built clinics has a 3-dimensional Cone Beam Computed Tomography scan, otherwise known as ‘CBCT’. CBCT scans allow clinicians to see difficult-to-reach structures, detect small anatomical problems, and make more accurate diagnoses.

Due to the complex nature of dental surgery, especially for full jaw dental implants, the most precise and accurate scanning is required in order to achieve the best outcome for the patient. As part of your free consultation, we will take a CBCT scan of your mouth, allowing our clinicians to review your current situation, and begin planning the best places for your implants to go.

As well as this, these scans are used by our dental technicians, who will work alongside the clinicians to design your bespoke prosthesis, all on-site and in-house. Scans with a CBCT are essential to our process, and ultimately help to produce a treatment plan, accurate implant placement and therefore the best outcome possible for a patient.
