Being told dentures are your only option?

Sometimes, the needs of patients mean that their local practice may not be able to offer dental implants. This includes patients who:

  • Are living with injury or dental trauma
  • Need sinus lifts and bone grafts
  • Have pre-existing dental work, including crowns and bridges
  • Have many failing or missing teeth
  • Suffer from severe gum disease, periodontitis
  • Lack the amount of bone needed for implants

However, EvoDental can offer ‘smile in a day’ full mouth dental implants even for patients with complex dental conditions.

This treatment option, the EvoSolution™, gives a permanent and fixed solution on surgery day, whilst negating the need for extra preparatory treatments, like sinus lifts and bone grafts.

This means that even if you have been advised that dental implants are not an option for you, it’s extremely likely our team of experts can offer dental implants in Scotland for those who need them.

Looking to avoid temporary dentures altogether?

Some providers of all on 4 or ‘smile in a day’ dental implant treatments will use a temporary denture to return limited function during a period of healing, once dental implants are placed. This is common for practices that do not have on-site dental labs and therefore have to outsource the manufacturing of prosthetic teeth, which may mean that patients need to wait for their fixed teeth.

However, wearing temporary dentures for the following weeks or months can be considered uncomfortable and awkward, as they are not fixed securely in the mouth.

EvoDental focuses solely on providing an optimised and fixed full mouth dental implant treatment, that fits a bespoke prosthesis on the same day as the dental implants.

Through our expertise and processes, each bespoke prosthesis is designed and milled in our on-site laboratories, then fitted on the same day as surgery, so it fits, looks, and functions like natural teeth. Allowing you to live comfortably, eat, and socialise again without concern.

If that sounds more like what you are looking for, why not reach out to the team today?

Do you fit smile in a day dental implants?

At EvoDental, we focus on ‘smile in a day’ dental implants – fitting a bespoke screw-retained prosthesis for all patients in one day.

Thanks to our experienced team and on-site laboratories we can design, mill, and fit a prosthesis which replaces failing or missing teeth with a long-lasting, permanent option, removing the need for uncomfortable and slippery temporary dentures.

Take a look at our patient timeline

Morning

Arriving at 8am, you will be taken to your own private patient suite. Then, under sedation and pain-free, any remaining teeth are extracted, and dental implants are placed. Each jaw takes about 2 hours.

Afternoon

You will then be taken back to your comfortable private patient suite where you can relax and recover while your bespoke initial prosthesis is made in our on-site lab.

Late afternoon

Your new smile in a day prosthesis is placed, leaving with your first set of fixed teeth, until you return a few weeks later for your final set.

How do I know if I am eligible for dental implants?

Some dentists have a very limited set of criteria that make patients eligible for dental implants. EvoDental, on the other hand, can offer ‘smile in a day’ dental implants for even complex cases, including patients who have:

  • Been told that they don’t have enough healthy bone for implants
  • Lost most or even all of their natural teeth

  • Already undergone extensive dental work such as bridges and crowns
  • Failing teeth

If you want to know if you are eligible, simply book a free dental implant consultation.

How long do dental implants last?

As a fixed solution made from durable, biocompatible materials, dental implants in Scotland can last  for many, many years.

However, they will only last this long with proper care and maintenance, including:

  • Taking care of your dental hygiene
  • Visiting a dentist regularly
  • Following our aftercare tips
